Hi, I'm Mary. I live in Central NY and like to write. I work from home, homeschool my children, run a guinea pig rescue, and have lots of different interests. I'm married to a great guy, and have 2 dogs, some guinea pigs, and 3 awesome sons!

Work At Home

I've been working from home since 2003. I was taken out of work for early contractions with my first son and wanted to make some money online. I've been scammed, with the whole stuffing envelopes thing, the data entry so called jobs, and paying for work. But I've learned a lot and I consider myself an expert in finding work from home.

Three companies I have worked with include West Work At Home Agents, Arise (previously Willow), and ACD Direct, among others. Since working with these companies I've graduated to having my own business in Internet marketing and am currently moving into business and marketing consulting.

Homeschooling

I have three sons, two of which are old enough to learn. One just born in July 2011. They have never been to public school. The decision to homeschool really sticks with my husband, he wants to protect the kids.

I agree with homeschooling because I like to have more control over their education, give them more options, allow them to grow at their own rate, etc. I can promise there are days that I would love to send them, but I just couldn't do it, they will be homeschooled until they are ready to decide what they want.

Guinea Pig Rescue

In July 2010 we finally got our own home and one thing I have always wanted to do is help animals. We met someone that did guinea pig rescue and decided to give it a shot. It's fun and doesn't cost as much as larger animals. In our first year we have helped almost 100 guinea pigs. You can learn and read about our rescue at http://cnypiggies.blogspot.com
